Co-Parenting Services

Divorce and separation are one of the top 5 life stressors.
Yet, within the conflict, there is a promise of restoring positive communication patterns and healthy boundaries, strengthening attachment relationships, and creating a family ecosystem in which everyone’s emotional needs are understood and supported.
In our work together, we honor all the stress, overwhelm, and challenges of this time, and then create a bridge to a new, more positive path forward and future reality for you and your children.
Whether you are struggling with communication, parenting style differences, conflict, transitions between homes, or supporting your children through the changes in your family, I provide practical, individualized support to help you understand what is happening, maximize the growth potential, and create a plan for moving forward.
My co-parenting support services are rooted in Positive Discipline, Conflict Transformation Theory, Interpersonal Neurobiology, family mediation, and collaborative divorce practice. I have 15 years experience in parenting education and coaching, and have supported co-parenting families for the last 6 years.
Co-Parenting Services may include:

A separate, court-appointed service
Parenting Coordination
Parenting coordination (PC) is a separate and distinct service that is NOT co-parenting coaching. As a parenting coordinator, I am appointed by the courts.
Parenting coordination services require a $2000 retainer and each party pays a portion of the retainer based upon the court order. PC fees are $200/hour and that hourly rate is also split based on your court order. If interested in PC services, please email Megan at parenting@meganbarella.com as I have a preferred court order.
